Welcome to the Galiano Trading Company Ltd. Thank you for shopping locally. We are a full range Lumberyard, Garden Centre and Hardware store, serving the needs of Galiano Island residents and visitors.
Accessibility
Customers with mobility challenges are able to access most of our store however, we do have steps. When visiting our store our staff can help with getting the products you need from our houseware section which is located three steps up. The main section of the store and aisles can be accessed in a wheel care. The front section of our Lumberyard is asphalt while the back section of the yard is gravel.
Garden Centre
When visiting our store, be sure to check out our garden centre which is located down stairs, access is through the lumberyard or through the store by the front counter. Inside you will find fertilizers, garden hoses, garden tools and more, outside we have our soils, growing mediums, mulches and manures.
Lumber Yard
Finding the right piece of lumber can be an overwhelming task; if you are unsure of where to find something find one of our friendly yard staff to help with your lumber purchase. Please note, all lumber purchases need to be written up by our yard staff for payment in our store or for applying to your house account.
Our lumber yard is large and at times can be very busy, please be patient with our staff they will help you as quickly as they can. Each customer deserves time and attention in a timely fashion. If you loaded your order without assistance, we apologize for not being there to help, we still require a staff person to review and write your order up.
Due to the fluctuation in lumber pricing we do not currently list our pricing in the yard. If you require an estimate, please visit our order form and submit a pricing request.

Pets WelcomeWe enjoy visits with your fur friends, we ask that your dog be under your control at all times and if they happen to have an accident in our store, please be kind and clean up after your pet.
We have cleaners available to assist you, just ask at the front counter. |
