Paint Mixing & Matching
We offer top quality Benjamin Moore Paints and we have the tools necessary to help match your existing colour palette. Our paint mixing can keep your record of projects and colour choices.
Just ask our staff to store your preferences when we are mixing your paint.
Material Cutting
Lumber Cutting
We offer a limited cutting service when you are purchasing your lumber.
Rebar Cutting
Galiano Trading offers customers a rebar cutting tool to use on site to cut their purchased rebar.
When requested, staff may be available to cut rebar at a cost of $1 per cut.
Customers are not permitted to use our hydraulic cutter but a manual cutter is available for use.
All cutting is based on staff availability.
Standard Cuts:
Between 5 and 15 cuts:
More than 15 cuts:
Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies require approval of the Yard Manager and will be subject to additional charges.

- Up to 5 cuts can be done by staff at the time of purchase
- Rate: $1 per cut
Between 5 and 15 cuts:
- Can be requested between 8am and 3pm
- Our goal will be to complete the cuts and have them available for pick-up after 4pm on the same day, however, depending on volume of cuts and staff availability it may require up to 48 hours to complete.
More than 15 cuts:
- Customers requesting more than 15 cuts will be considered on a case by case basis and require approval from the Yard Manager.
- All large volume cuts require a minimum of 24 hours notice and will be subject to additional charges.
Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies require approval of the Yard Manager and will be subject to additional charges.
Equipment & Appliance Rentals
We have a number of items that customers can rent. Currently available are scaffolding, a steam cleaner and a pressure washer.
In addition to our rental items we have a plumbing tool box and post pounder available on loan from the store.
Scaffolding
We rent the framing for scaffolding, it is the responsibility of the renter to secure the necessary wood flooring pieces to construct the scaffolding, please note this is not included in the rental fee.
Steam Cleaner Rental
Operating the steam cleaner is relatively simple. Instructions will be included with the machine when renting it out. It is important that the steam cleaner is rinsed and cleaned before returning it to the store, failure to do so may result in additional cleaning charges. Attached are the instructions on how to return the steam cleaner.

Pressure Washer Rental
Galiano Trading has a gas operated pressure washer available for rental. In order to operate the pressure washer properly you must follow the instructions provided. An orientation is required for rental of the pressure washer. Failure to do follow the instructions may result in the unit failing to workproperly. Customers will be responsible for any damage occurring to the unit. A $50 deposit is required to rent the pressure washer. (House account holders excluded).

Delivery & Curbside Pick-up
Our customers have the option of having their lumber and other building-supplies purchases delivered on island (rates vary depending on location), and deliveries can be scheduled through our Yard Manager.
Deliveries require a minimum of 48 hours to schedule.
Curbside pick up can be arranged and may take up to 48 hours (excluding Sunday) to fill and is dependent on product availability. Larger orders may require more time to fulfill.
